These are the current trail
conditions for ADSC
We tell it as it is!
Sunday, March 07, 2010 6:59 am
Mild days and cold nights defiantly have spring on the way. Most surrounding
clubs have closed there trails or quit grooming for the season. we will continue
grooming for the upcoming week slowly eliminating trails that involve a lot of
road running as the snow disappears. At this point everything is still open and
quite good especially the East side of the system. We will no longer be grooming
D-123 from Burks Falls to the Sequin as it involves way to much road around
Burks Fall, Katrine and Emsdale, we will leave trail section in that area open
for local riding but will be classified as limited and ungroomed. There will be
lots of local spring riding on the rest of the system till Spring Break at which
time we will officially close the system unless conditions change dramatically. Next
weeks Big spring Barbeque is still on with great weather in the forecast,
everyone welcome. If you don't have a sled we will provide timely transportation
in and out by sleigh from the Forest Tower Road and local resorts. For any questions
call Jack at 705 636 7336 Barbeque

IMPORTANT
Next Almaguin Snowmobile Club Meeting
Thursday March 11th 2010 at the Burks Fall Legion (back room)
We encourage people to attend as the club is in desperate need of new directors and will
soon cease to exist if no
one steps forward. We desperately need people from the Sundridge, Burks Falls,
Sand Lake and Kearney. For numerous years we are and have been one of the most successful snowmobile
clubs in the province so become involved or this will end. We need new and
younger people to start to take over this club if you want it to continue.

Coming Events
As of this season the ADSC board of directors had
made the decision to discontinue the annual ADSC Poker Run due to drop in
attendance and burnt out volunteers. This also put a burden on our businesses
who have for numerous years supplied both the cash and the prizes to make this
event happen, We thank them all for there generous support.
Annual Spring Break Barbeque
Come join us on Saturday March 13th at our Annual
Spring Barbeque. Same place as last year ADSC 303 on Sand Lake bypass trail watch for
signs , posters and arrows. This year larger than ever with tons of food for
both adults and kids come spend the day. Everyone welcome!!
(Donations only) will be accepted.
